Quick Tip: Group Journaling

For events that include many people try group journaling for a fun perspective.

One of our favorite family Christmas traditions is to spend a day at Silver Dollar City. If you've never been or heard of it, it's a popular theme park in Branson, MO. Every year for the holiday season they cover every inch of the place in lights. My personal favorite is the giant Christmas tree covered in lights that are timed to songs that play along.

Since we go as a big family, I thought a good way to capture all that we love about SDC at Christmas would be to interview my family with one question:

What is your favorite thing about visiting SDC at Christmas?

It made this layout so special to document our SDC fun through several perspectives. I love that it has a piece of each family member on it!

Asking your family or friends the simple question like:

What is your favorite thing about _______?

or

What was the most memorable moment?

Try asking those question for events like:

• The birth of a baby

• A birthday party

• Thanksgiving dinner

• A vacation or visit to a theme park

• A wedding

• A fun weekend together

• The first day of school

• A sporting event

• Holidays

• A family event or get-together
