Throwback Thursday with a side of hot chocolate sounds so cozy. Both have the ability to create the warm and fuzzies.
I’m always so thankful that I scrapbook and document our lives when I come across old layouts and old memories. Memories that I’m sure had I not scrapbooked, would be long gone and forgotten. There are so many little, “everyday” insignificant memories that even though they are deeply cherished and loved, we forget them so easily.
I doubt I would have ever remembered how Drew loved his hot chocolate and would brave the cold just long enough to say he was cold and needed hot chocolate to warm him up.
A little Throwback Thursday reminder, don’t forget to document the little “everyday” things. Even if you don’t plan on doing a layout right away, write it down somewhere. I love using social media as my own little personal account of the things we do and say. So much is easily forgotten as the years pass us by. Even though I scrapbook, I wish I had done a better job of documenting a lot of the little things we did on a daily basis when my kids were younger!
