Layout From a Sketch Using New 3-Photo Sketches at SG

Earlier this week we added a new set of sketches to the Scrapbook Generation store that features designs using 3 photos.

I used one of those sketches to create the layout below...
I made a few adaptations to the design to work with different photos and a different theme. Here's what I changed:
First, I flipped the sketch design. I did that mostly to work with the direction I am facing in the photos (since I take up the majority of the photo), but in the end it really didn't matter because my photos ended up being more in the center than I had originally thought they would be. I needed more space for my hearts so they were shifted over.
Next, I adapted the design to work with two photos instead of three and my photos are slightly smaller as well. I layered mats behind the photo to increase the size of that area and then adjusted the strips on the right to work with that.
The sketch design has a cluster of flowers along the edge of the photos and I swapped those our for hearts to go with my theme.
On the colorful patterned paper hearts I added black stitching and on the black cardstock hearts I used colorful stitching.
The last detail I changed was moving the title and journaling to fit with my photos and the other changes I made. The sketch has the title and journaling on top of the banner strips and slightly overlapped on the photos, but that just wouldn't work on my layout. My banner strips are shorter and there isn't really room to overlap onto the photos without covering part of Jackson.
I instead decided to add my title to the bottom edge and my journaling to the top edge of the photos. That felt like a good way to add balance and frame the photos as well.
