It's no secret that I'm a Simple Stories fan. I don't like to pick favorites when it comes to scrapbooking companies (I love you all!) but they would definitely be in the running. You can clearly see that by looking through my posts and layouts.
Simple Stories here.
Simple Stories there.
Simple Stories everywhere.
So, I present to you...
More Simple Stories!
The other day I walk into Scrapbook Generation and my eyes go directly to the "latest and greatest" wall of products and land on a package of chipboard layered frames. I was barely out the door with these little frames of awesome in my hand and I was already planning my layout.
Don't you love it when you find something that excites you so much that you are bursting to create!?
So why did I find them so awesome?
The package has six frames in different sizes and styles. What drew me to them is that they have these beautiful decorations on them. I was particularly fond of the heart shaped frames!
If it wasn't for the stitching I did, this layout would have been done in less than an hour thanks to those cute frames. Thank you, Simple Stories!
I used the largest heart frame (it actually has two heart frames that are connected) to highlight a super sweet photo of Drew kissing Jackson on the cheek.
I used the second part, the small heart frame, for my journaling.
Then I used the other separate heart frame for another photo and slightly overlapped it onto the first frame.
To embellish the edges of the paper, I hand-cut, fussy-cut, whatever-you-would-choose-to-call-it-cut, the flowers from a piece of patterned paper and layered some heart stickers on top of them.
This might be the most detailed, yet easiest layout I've ever made!
