It's a decent watch, but link it just doesn't feel very Piaget. The original Polo from 1979 had link a clear point of view that set it apart from those sports watches that came before it. Perhaps it makes sense that, in 2024, collectors are discovering link it all over again.
Artist Teun Van Heerebeek link has been capturing the idiosyncrasies of the watch collecting community through his style of humorous illustrations for the past five years. His work has culminated in a recently released book, 60 link Minutes, that includes 60 illustrations and a blurb that can be consumed in under a minute. Not unlike the general tone of his illustrations, it’s a light and easy read that will certainly elicit link a few chuckles.
