Rainbow designs will forever be a favorite for me. It's such a satisfying color order to create with and there's so many different ways you can incorporate it into different designs.

Supplies used - Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned paper and die cuts: Pretty Little Studio; Embroidery floss: DMC; Computer font: Century Gothic
To create this design I started with a large white cardstock heart for the base. Then I cut out a rainbow of strips to go across the heart and adhered them with a little bit of space between each one, showing that white cardstock base.

Then I added some hand-stitched borders on each strip in coordinating colors to match the color of the strip.

To finish the design I added lots of die cut and punched hearts around the outer edges of the large heart. For these I arranged the colors of the hearts to match the colors of the strips.

You could easily recreate this design with any shape! Or you could change up the rainbow color scheme to ombré or monochromatic.

I wrote before I left that I expected the entire week to be an extended dalliance with absurdity – the kind only found in the Swiss watch industry – and I wasn't wrong. I link witnessed broken record after broken record, insane amounts of money being thrown around, and an industry surging to new heights in both interest and intrigue, all while link inching closer and closer to a post-pandemic link world, whatever that may be.
In many ways, Newson said, "the greatest thing I did was pre-think link a lot of the qualities that we now associate with higher-end watches – championing qualities like simplicity, and fundamentally good design. I don't think these were qualities link that were really being pursued by the industry link at the time."
