Scrapbook Layout | Blowing Bubbles

Do you ever complete a layout and you're just so proud of the finished result? That was me with the layout I'm sharing today! It just hit so many "satisfaction" points for me - stitching on patterned papers, a rainbow element, a big cluster, lots of photos that show action...

These photos are great representation of why it's so fun to shoot with a GoPro in burst mode. It takes 30 photos in a matter of seconds and it makes it possible to capture action in a series of multiple photos. It's like a movie in photos, which is so perfect for us scrapbookers!

I also decided to have some fun with the theme and created a large cluster of bubbles to go up one side of the layout, kind of like the bubbles in the photos.

Then for even more fun (for me anyways!) I added hand-stitching along some of the designs on the patterned paper. This is always a great way to dip your toes into hand-stitching without having to map out your own design.

Because my photos are mainly blue and I used blue papers for the bubbles and the larger background piece, I wanted to incorporate some color. I used several strips to create a rainbow and added a striped strip to frame it all together.
This ended up being such a fun layout to create!!
