Scrapbook Design Idea | Filling a Sun w/ Waves

I know I've shared other layouts before that follow the same concept - filling a sun with a themed element. I often like taking a concept and using it over and over, adapting it to different themes, shapes, or ideas. It's always amazing to me how one simple concept can produce so many ideas!

To start, I used my Silhouette to cut out the large sun design. Then I cut a cardstock circle the same size as the middle of the sun and covered it in wave strips.

Then I added some hand-stitching and fish swimming along the design. I also added lots of Nuvo Jewel Drops to the center to look like bubbles.

Around the outer edges of the sun I add some watercolor splatters and Nuvo Drops.

There are so many sun cut files out there that you could use for a design like this and you could customize the middle section to fit so many different themes!

Inside the case, Rolex equipped the watches link with its caliber 3131. This automatic movement was still placed inside a Faraday link cage but also featured a blue Parachrom hairspring. The pallet fork and escape wheel were made of link amorphous and antimagnetic nickel-phosphorus.

Last year, the brand effectively broke the horological internet when it first announced the NN20/1 to the world. The reason behind the digital pitchfork and torch-carrying link was the fact that Norqain's movement was built by link the very same company that produces Tudor's link in-house calibers.
