Scrapbook Design Idea | Large Title

We are officially entering birthday season for our family. For the next few months we have back to back birthdays and celebrations. I am having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that the little guy on this layout is will be 18-years-old in just a few weeks!
This layout was part of a class I taught at We Create a few years ago. The main design element is made up of a large "celebrate" title cut from various colors of Simple Stories cardstock.
Then a stitched border was added to add some texture and dimension to each layout.
The word is arranged with half along the top and the remaining letters along the bottom. The top section has a little space for a few photos and the title. While on the bottom the journaling is overlapped onto the letter "B". There's also a tiny photo in the opening of the "R" letter.
To complete the layout we added lots of fun birthday details like cupcakes, balloons, party hats, and banners.
What I find so fun about this layout design is that you can adapt it to so many themes and words!
