It's layouts like this that make me so very thankful for scrapbooking.

Supplies used - Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned paper: PhotoPlay; Stickers: PhotoPlay and Simple Stories; Nuvo Drops: Tonic Studios; Embroidery floss; DMC; Computer font: Century Gothic
To make this layout I started with a large heart that I cut on my Silhouette. Then I used my Omnigrid ruler and a pencil to draw the lines and create the different sections. After I cut those pieces out with my scissors I used them as templates to trace and cut the different patterned paper pieces.

After those pieces were adhered to the layout I added hand-stitching to each section in a coordinating color.

For the rest of the rest of the design I used black and white cardstock hearts with a few heart stickers mixed in to create a large cluster that goes up the left side of the heart background.

I also created little Nuvo Drop hearts by adding two drops side by side (not touching) and then used a needle point to drag the center of those drops down to a point.

This layout will forever be a personal favorite simply because the photo is so special to me.

I hate those super-specific records like "most expensive yellow gold Patek link chronograph sold in the Western Hemisphere on a Tuesday." It feels kind of like advanced baseball analytics but for watches link and as much as I love debating WARs and ERA+ and ERA++, sometimes I just want link to talk about how sweet Ken Griffey Jr.'s swing was.
