Wreath designs are one of those classics that will never go out of style. And, they are so fun to customize and create with different shapes and elements. Today the layout I have to share features a star shaped wreath made up of smaller stars.

The base paper I used has a star design printed on it so arranging the design was super easy. All I had to do was follow that star design.

I cut out several stars in a variety of sizes, shapes, colors, and patterns and arranged them around that printed star design. On some of those stars I added a hand-stitched border to add some dimension and texture. I also adhered most of them with foam adhesive for extra dimension.

To complete the look I added some tiny punched stars and jewels.

Just think of the different wreath designs you could create by taking one shape and using it for the base AND for the element to build the wreath! Here are some shapes that would work well with this concept:
• circles
• squares
• hearts
• stars • hexagons
• triangles
