Scrapbook Layout Using 6x6" Papers | Hiding Behind the Leaves

A nice benefit to using 6x6" papers is how well they pair with 4 x 6" or 6 x 4" papers since they have the same 6" length/width. One of my go-to ways to use these smaller papers and that photo size together is shown on this layout.

I like to line up the edges of both together. With this layout there are two 4 x 6" photos on the left page and then there are 6" vertical strips lined up with the edges on both sides, continuing to the edges of the layout.

It's so simple and such an easy design concept to use with these papers and photos. And, there are so many ways you can design layouts with this concept in mind.

To go with my theme, I tried to find some leaf cut files that matched the leaves in the photos and arranged them in clusters around some smaller photos.

Then for a little pop of color I added some orange enamel dots. This tied in with both the patterned papers and the clothes my boys are wearing in the photos.
