Scrapbooking With 6 x 6" Paper Pads | Design Idea #12

I shared a new process video on my YouTube channel today! Video #12 of Scrapbooking with 6x6" Paper Pads features a large heart frame filled with slanted 1" squares cut from the "Sweet on You" 6x6" paper pad from Honey Bee Stamps. They have some of the most beautiful paper pads!

And, I finally used the chain link stitch that I've been wanting to try forever. I may be in love!! The texture and detail it adds is AMAZING! If you follow Paige Evans you've probably seen this stitch a time or two!

You can watch the video here:

This design concept is really quite simple even though it produces a really detailed result and it's a fun one to use with those smaller papers pads or even scraps. You could easily swap out that heart frame for a circle, hexagon, triangle, square, star, or maybe even a more themed shape like a Christmas tree, birthday hat, balloon, or Easter egg. For the squares you could simplify it by straightening them or using larger sizes like 2" or 3". You could also use a different shape to fill the heart frame. Try strips, hexagons, circles, or layer a bunch of smaller shapes like hearts, flowers, or stars. There are so many possibilities with this design!

I hope you enjoy the video!!
