Once a month learn how to use scrapbook sketches and adapt them to fit different styles, photo sizes, and themes. Sketches = endless scrapbooking ideas with little effort. Sketches do all the heavy lifting allowing you to have all the fun!
My day #3 layout uses the one-page sketch as inspiration for a two-page layout. I always say: never let the size of the sketch determine your layout!
Here is the one-page sketch that I have been using this week:

This month it is a 3-page PDF of 23 different sketch options. That makes 24 sketches for this month of Sketch Support. There are options that show how to change up the papers, use more photos, use less photos, there are four two-page options, and then an 8-1/2 x 11" option. The fun part is that you could use each option as a layout on its own, but you could also mix and match different options for endless possibilities!

Supplies used - Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned papers: Simple Stories, Bella Blvd, Echo Park, We R Memory Keepers, My Mind's Eye, and Fancy Pants; Acrylic word: Color Cast Designs; Alphabet stickers: Pretty Little Studio; Stickers: Simple Stories and My Mind's Eye; Embroidery floss: DMC; Computer font: Avenir Next
Variation #1 - Using the one-page sketch to create a two-page layout.
To make the sketch work for a two-page layout I stretched the design and added more photos to reach across the layout similar to the ones on the sketch. I used four 3 x 4" photos and two 4 x 4" photos and aimed to have similar margins on the left and right edges of the photos to the edge of the layout.

Variation #2 - Adapting the design to a specific theme.
I made some big changes to the circles for this one! First I started with a large sun as the base. I used the arrangement of the circles on the sketch as a guide for the placement of the sun strips.

Then I added lots of clouds and some kite stickers to accent the large sun design.

Variation #3 - Adding an extra photo.
I added a small 2 x 2" photo to the empty space of one 4 x 4" photo. I've always enjoyed small accent photos like this and it was an easy way to further highlight the joy on Drew's face.

That's all for today! Check back tomorrow for the YouTube version of Sketch Support.

For those that have never found it all that clear, Kenissi was founded and is owned link by Tudor. The result of Tudor's work in creating their own movement back in 2015, Kenissi was launched in 2016 as a subsidiary of link Tudor that manufactures and assembles movement not only for Tudor (duh), but also Chanel (who owns a piece of the Kenissi business), link Breitling, TAG Heuer, Norqain, and others. That being said, Kenissi is Tudor.
The BR03-92 HUD features an aesthetic that takes cues from an airplane's HUD. The crystal is tinted link green and features the same 90-degree markers you'd find in a cockpit HUD. The hour hand is a marker printed on a rotating disc, while the minute and seconds hand take a more traditional link approach. The matte-finished black 42mm link ceramic case is shared with the rest of the BR 03-92 collection, but this specific HUD-inspired example is limited to 999 pieces.
