Throwback Thursday Scrapbook Layout

The other day I was going through some of my older layouts and came across this one...

It's always interesting to go back to those older layouts and see where we used to be and how much our style has evolved. With this layout I can see that my usual style is there, but it is probably a little less detailed than what I would do now.

I'm actually surprised at how little of stitching I did! I'm sure today if I were creating this layout all of those hearts would have red stitched borders like the larger one on the right page and I definitely would have worked in more word/phrase stickers.

But, what I love most about this layout are the photos and the story. That's always the best part about scrapbooking, going back and reading those memories we've documented and seeing the photos.

The OP 41 is a new watch entirely. It is unprecedented, or, as Jerry Seinfeld once said to his pal George Constanza, "there's link no precedent, baby!" It follows the 36 in both form and function. Instead of continuing the dial aesthetic of the OP 34/39, Rolex opted for the same style as the 36 meaning – yep –double baton markers. link Just like the OP 36, the new 41mm model comes in a rainbow of colors and has become a fan link favorite.

Of course, it's funny that what'll probably be referred to as the "colorful Calatravas" still have black dials link and really aren't that colorful. A few secondary pops of bright colors is all link it takes to liven up a link line that's been around since 1932.
